I love taking my time when it comes to fashion week reviews – during the mayhem of fashion month, we tend to want to churn these reviews out as quick as possible, which sometimes doesn’t allow you to really enjoy the collections, to notice the details and to give it all some time to sink in. These clothes won’t land in stores until January anyway, so I like posting these closer to the date. Well that, and I’ve been super […]

I’m a bit of a Topshop makeup addict, as it’s seriously good value for money (totally obsessed with the lipsticks right now), always great colours and great packaging (never underestimate the power of good packaging). Topshop have just released this cute stop-motion video by brother & sister duo Sadie & Joe to promote the new SS13 nail colours. Enjoy! P.S. For you budding nail artists – check out the Topshop nail art pens, they’re super easy to use! Shop Topshop […]

Impulse buys usually go one of two ways: either they become your favourite thing EVER (for a little while) or they turn out to be huge mistakes, ending up on a pile at the back of your wardrobe. Well, last week I impulsively picked up a pair of leopard print high top trainers at New Look, as they were cute and comfy, and well, I haven’t taken them off since getting them. Paired with simple skinny jeans and a warm […]
J.W. Anderson for Topshop launched yesterday – I already spotted a number of pieces worn around London Fashion Week – and it’s all kinds of amazing. Below are some of my picks from the collection! Happy shopping!
I’ve been a longtime fan of Louise Gray‘s outrageously colourful collections – her AW12 show was one of my favourites of last London Fashion Week, see my review and pics here – so I happily welcome her first collaboration with Topshop, launching next week. Louise Gray’s collections are always guaranteed to transform the catwalk into a club scene, with an overload of colours, layers, materials and just full-on craziness, and whilst I’m probably way too conservative and boring to wear […]
The theme for this week’s Wednesday Wishlist is simple: I’m obsessed with this T by Alexander Wang neoprene skirt. It’s my perfect shape, easy on the wallet and comes in the perfect colours. Then I made 3 dream outfits with it. Tadaaaaa! 1: Marc by Marc Jacobs Wild Flower Silk Top, £220, from Coggles 2: Black ribbed peplum jacket, £45, from Topshop 3: Carven Button back sweater, £210, from Matches 4: T by Alexander Wang neoprene skirt in burgundy, £185, […]
I’m having a major leather moment lately. It started with the rediscovery of an old COS leather skirt, which I’ve barely taken off since. Easy to style with just about anything, it adds an instant touch of rock ‘n roll, glam and don’t-mess-with-me. Leather was huge last AW, and is set to be even bigger next season, so you may as well get in there early and start adding leather or a small leather touch to your outfits now! Whether […]

To celebrate Topshop’s 10 year involvement with the NEWGEN scheme, they asked 20 of their most famous alumni to design a T-shirt, to be sold in shops and online from next week. NEWGEN is a scheme which helps young designers with financial aid, as well as providing them with a location to show their collections during London Fashion Week. If anyone had any doubts as to how successful this scheme is, then reading the 20 names should settle those doubts […]
I spotted this table stacked with Topshop Make Up goodies at the Arcadia press SS12 press day last week and it was like a colourful wet dream come true. Had to stop myself from sweeping the whole lot into my handbag. But, there were people and probably cameras and I don’t like jail, so instead I took snaps. So here you go, some make up porn for you. P.S. This is exactly how I organise my make up. CHAOS.
