Mulberry AW13 Ad Campaign

Mulberry AW13 Ad Campaign

Yes, yes, I know, the sun has barely peeked from behind the clouds, the on-off game with our tights has gotten a little boring and our overpriced pedicures haven’t been given the opportunity to be shown off, so the last thing you want to hear about is the new Autumn/Winter ad campaigns, right? I know.  But then the Mulberry ads are always fantastically pretty, always feeling a little bit like a fairy tale. This time the quintessentially British fairy tale […]

Mulberry’s SS13 Ad Campaign

Mulberry’s SS13 Ad Campaign

I’m not one to usually blog about ad campaigns, but Mulberry’s “Where the wild things are”-inspired campaign was by far one of my favourites of last  season and the new one is pretty damn amazing as well. Shot once again by Tim Walker and featuring the gorgeous Canadian model Meghan Collison, it’s  much airer and dreamier than last season, but just as magical. It heavily features the new Willow tote, which I wasn’t totally convinced by until I saw these pics – […]

Mulberry’s Magical AW12 Ad Campaign

Mulberry’s Magical AW12 Ad Campaign

I was always a huge fan of “Where the wild things are” – both the children’s book as well as the incredible film adaptation from a few years back – so I absolutely adore Mulberry’s new AW12 ad campaign, shot by Tim Walker. Model Lindsay Wixson seems to find herself deep in the forest with some cute, fluffy monsters – as you do – whilst sporting Mulberry’s AW12 collection and carrying some of the label’s latest bags – the […]

Mulberry announces new “Del Rey” bag!

Mulberry announces new “Del Rey” bag!

This hot off the press: Mulberry has announced it is launching a new bag named after Lana Del Rey! This is not a bad feat for a girl who’s been on the global radar for less than a year, so this bag will cement her status as a true music and fashion darling. The Del Rey bag is a classic, timeless Mulberry bag with a bit of a retro feel, not unlike Lana’s classic Hollywood style. Of her bag, Lana […]

Mulberry SS12 Ad Campaign

Mulberry SS12 Ad Campaign

For its new SS12 ad campaign, Mulberry went to the beach. Not somewhere exotic like Barbados or the Seychelles or Mauritius – nope: Brighton Pier. The sugary sweet images fit perfectly with the new collection, which was inspired by the Great British Summer. I love the fact that an iconic British brand like Mulberry is embracing its roots like this, it’s just such a colourful and cheerful campaign. The campaign was shot by Tim Walker, styled by Edward Enninful and […]

My Week in Twitpics (12-18 Dec)

My Week in Twitpics (12-18 Dec)

…and what a week it was! I was ill, I spent 2 days in the snowy Swiss Alps, had a Christmas party, had to do all my Christmas shopping, and somewhere in between all of that madness, I had work to do… Ralph Lauren sent me gifts to give away to a) myself, b) a lucky reader! >center>Flying to Geneva, going up 1800m to Saas Fee, learning to DJ in a chalet, fliming a 3D movie and design my own […]

Press Day Shenanigans

Press Day Shenanigans

It’s been a manic few weeks of press days, where PR’s open their doors to the press and introduce the new collections – SS12 in this case. Some of these brands I’ve already seen on the catwalk, but are great to rediscover up close and personal. I couldn’t possibly report on all the press days I’ve been to individually (I took hundreds and hundreds of snaps), so here are some highlights of some I’ve been to already.Corrie Nielsen taking a […]

Designer Pudsey Bears for BBC Children In Need

Designer Pudsey Bears for BBC Children In Need

BBC’s Children In Need has invited a few of Britain’s top names in fashion to create their version of the iconic Pudsey bear to be auctioned off, with all proceeds going to the charity. Erdem, Giles Deacon, Jonathan Sauners, Mulberry, Liberty, Katie Hillier, Patrick Grant, PPQ and Henry Holland each transformed the traditionally yellow bear into colourful, fashionable one-of-a-kind pieces, which are ready for you to bid on right now. The auction is running on Children In Need’s eBay page […]

London Fashion Week SS12: Mulberry

London Fashion Week SS12: Mulberry

There are few things as fun during London Fashion Week as the Mulberry show (and afterparty). This season the label got its inspiration from the Great British Summers at the coast. Outside we were treated to ice cream from an old-fashioned van and home made lemonade, whilst inside the rooms in the Claridges Ballroom were transformed into a jungle of inflated animal balloons. The catwalk resembled a fairground ride and the models had coloured streaks in their hairs, reminiscent of […]

A surprise from Mulberry, part 3.

A surprise from Mulberry, part 3.

This is fast becoming a seasonal feature on my blog: the amazing London Fashion Week invites from Mulberry. First, there was the cat mask, then my little doll, then last season’s origami game, which I never had time to report (but still features proudly on my desk), so I was like a giddy little child when the courier delivered the latest ones… Summer 2012 looks to be a hot and cheerful one according to Mulberry. The show invite is an […]
