As a Belgian, I will always have a soft spot for luggage brand Kipling. Growing up, my first schoolbag was Kipling. It came with a matching pencil case to which I attached a number of fluffy monkey – because the more monkeys, the better, obviously. So whenever I see a Kipling store twenty-something years later, it brings me right back to my childhood and a ton of happy memories. Through writing this blog I’ve been very lucky to reconnect with the brand […]

You may not know House of Hackney yet, but I promise you, you will do soon enough: it is one of those cult labels that’s quietly been growing over the past few seasons and getting stronger and bigger with every passing one. Originally founded by a London-based husband-and-wife team as an interiors brand, their signature prints are original and fun and as good as they look on sofas, cushions and wallpaper, I simply adore them even more on their clothing. Now […]
I’m always a huge fan of the Nike and Liberty collaborations, so when Liberty invited me a couple of weeks ago to check out the latest drop exclusively, I of course jumped at the chance. Together with my other project Fashercise, I’m beyond thrilled to finally get to share with you these images of the new Sneakerboot collection, launching on Monday October 21st 2013. The new collection uses the iconic Bourton Liberty fabric featuring a paisley print in 2 different shades, […]
Mary Katrantzou -one of my favourite designers – has collaborated with beauty brand Rodial on a limited-edition scented candle, set to launch in September. The candle features Mary’s signature colourful prints, and has top notes of orange and lemon, with sweet pineapple and orange blossom base notes. I think it’s absolutely gorgeous – almost to pretty to use! Mary Katrantzou x Rodial Candle will be available from September at Harrod’s, Selfridges, Harvey Nichols and Space NK and will cost £35.
Doing what I do, I see a lot of collaborations pop up in my inbox. A LOT. I do love a good collaboration, that special moment when two brands come together and create something new, each taking the best parts of what they do and adding it to the other’s. Some of them can be truly great, some of them a little random but good, some of them… well.. not. Luxury accessories label MCM partnering with pop art duo Craig […]
Liberty has just dropped yet another exclusive collaboration, this time with Marc by Marc Jacobs. The “Pretty Nylon” collection has been given a floral makeover with 2 classic Liberty prints – Emma & Georgina and Wiltshire – on a selection of bags, tablet cases and make up pouches, all very cute. The collection is available in stores and online now.
I’m always partial to a good, unexpected collaboration, and Peter Som‘s small but perfect collection for Anthropologie is just that. Anthroplogie isn’t known for its huge, commercial collaborations, but often does these wonderful little collections with a wonderful designers. US designer Peter Som may be a well-established name within the fashion industry, but perhaps not widely known outside of it, so this collection is a great opportunity to introduce him to a new public. The collection consists of pretty (wedding […]
Liberty of London‘s collaborations are by now legendary – Nike, Barbour, Hermès, B Store, Merci, Dr. Martens and Fred Perry to name a few – so I’m always looking forward to find out who they’re working with next. This time it’s with denim giant Levi’s (for whom this is the very first collaboration ever!) on a 15 piece womenswear collection featuring classic (and not so classic) Levi’s items mixed with 2 specially created Liberty prints. Some pieces have a little […]
Feast your eyes on the first sketches of Karl Lagerfeld’s upcoming collaboration with Brazilian footwear label Melissa! The collection will consist of 4 models – 2 original designs by Karl and updating 2 existing ones. Inspired by Brazil’s joie de vivre, Karl added some fun elements like an ice cream cone heel and transparent spheres at the top of a ballerina, whilst learning about working with Melissa’s trademark plastic material. The first of 4 capsule collections designed by Karl will land in stores […]
Just this morning I was having a conversation about designer collaborations and how it would be nice to see something other than celebrities and huge designers collaborating with brands, a collaboration with interesting people perhaps. Well, L.K. Bennett did just that. Caroline Issa may be a well known figure within the fashion industry, both as a Fashion Director at Tank Magazine as well as becoming a bit of a streetstyle photographer’s darling for her immaculate style, but let’s face it, […]
The Outnet has joined forces with no one other than the incredible Oscar de la Renta for an exclusive collection designed just for the site. Consisting of 24 pieces (which include dresses, skirts, shirts, jackets and more), the Oscar de la Renta collaboration will allow fans of the label to get their hands on some timeless items at affordable prices. Some are great wardrobe staples – classic items every girl should own, whilst other pieces are perfect for the upcoming wedding […]
London-based shoe designer Joanne Stoker has been on my radar for a little while, and it looks like I’m not the only one to have noticed her amazing talent. As well as her own collections she recently collaborated with Matthew Williamson and Eudon Choi (those pom pom heels were divine!) for their London Fashion Week collections and now she’s hitting the high street with a collection for Dune. This is the third designer collaboration for Dune, after the successful collections […]
