Despite the fact that most of my life is online these days, some things I like to keep private. My home is one of those things (mostly because it’s a massive mess all the time), but the other day I finally cleaned up my little office and thought I’d show you where I work from every day.
As you know, I’m a freelancer, so I work from home. My office is in the basement of my home, underneath the staircase – it’s London, you gotta make the most out of all available space, after all. The space underneath the stairs was wasted and unused, so I decided to use it to the max – an “office” seemed like the obvious choice. It may be small and a little awkward but it’s perfect (despite the bruises on my head), and these days it’s filled with memories from my fashion life so far – from invites to drawings to USB sticks to books to pictures. I hope you like it!
P.S. It NEVER looks this clean. Ever.
Beautiful books I’ve never really read.
A reminder for when I start wondering why the hell I’m doing this.
Fashionable Diet Coke
Masks, invites and pictures of fashion events I can’t seem to get rid of.
My Liberty print “A” – the sloppy first try and a beautiful drawing of me from a Thomas Lyte event.
Family snaps and my precious Chanel SS11 show invite
Will work for tips.
A Magic Eight ball – gives me all the answers I need!
Dim Sum basket filled with USB’s from events

I’ve never worn flatforms before now. In fact, up until recently, I can’t say I liked them much (specifically the word flatform, it’s just silly, right?). Anyway, when StylistPick asked me to do “7 days with Stylistpick”, where I style one of their shoes every day for a week, I decided it would be a perfect opportunity to test this trend out.
I’m now on day 4 (would be more, but trying to get my mom to take my picture is like pulling a tooth – painful and long experience) and I can tell you this much: my Miranda flatforms are comfy as hell. I went away for a little sunshine break of the Easter weekend, and loved wearing them around. I usually can’t be bothered wearing heels on holiday, and these flatforms add some height where flipflops and sandals don’t without the discomfort of heels. Being a shorty, that’s an absolute blessing.
I never thought I’d say it, but I think I’m sold on flatforms. Keep an eye out for the full post with all outfits in a few weeks!

For months now, I’ve been looking for the *perfect* sunglasses, and it’s been a long, neverending search. But then last week, I finally fell head over heels for these beautiful Prada sunnies… Round, thick frame, great colour and not overly expensive (£190) – complete and utter perfection!
Thank god I finally got a bit of sunshine here on my Easter break in Portugal, so I could pop ‘em on! Love!
