London-based shoe designer Joanne Stoker has been on my radar for a little while, and it looks like I’m not the only one to have noticed her amazing talent. As well as her own collections she recently collaborated with Matthew Williamson and Eudon Choi (those pom pom heels were divine!) for their London Fashion Week collections and now she’s hitting the high street with a collection for Dune.
This is the third designer collaboration for Dune, after the successful collections with Olivia Rubin and Kat Maconie. The Joanne Stoker for Dune collection will go in stores in 2 drops. The first is inspired by Art Deco with neon accents, featuring sandals, wedges, high heels and bags. The second drop (some of which you can see in one of the snaps below) seems inspired by mermaids and shells, but I have to admit these are really not my cup of tea.
Regardless, I have lots of respect and admiration for Dune, who are championing and supporting young talent most of the high street shopper may not even have heard of before. The Joanne Stoker for Dune collection lands in stores in May, with prices between £70-£145.
Make sure you keep an eye out for Joanne Stoker, as I believe she’s about to become a huge name in shoe design!
