Evian’s motto is “Live Young”, and so this January they popped up around London with fun ideas to get people to live and act young again. Pink, foamy Evian swings were installed right outside Canary Wharf tube station and a giant seesaw appeared in Finsbury Avenue Square to the confusion and delight of the commuters.
Taking it one step further, Evian took me and Abi on a daylong treasure hunt around London to unleash the inner child in us. We started on the Evian swings at Canary Wharf, which was a real blast – I had forgotten just how fun swings could be! The next clue took us to Hamleys on Regent Street, where we got to shop for toys. There we got a clue that led us to The Sanderson for the Alice in Wonderland themed Mad Hatter’s Afternoon Tea, followed by a spot of karaoke at Karaoke Box Soho (on a Tuesday afternoon!) and finally a great couple of hours unleashing our inner graffiti artists at Graffik Gallery.
As Tuesdays go, this was by far the most random and enjoyable one I’ve had in a long time, and it was nice to get to act and play like kids for a day. Thanks Evian for reminding me that fun can be so wonderfully simple at times.
