Celia Birtwell x Uniqlo Alexloves January 31, 2013 Fashion 3 Comments Uniqlo has just announced the latest of its designer collaborations (after some great ones with Laura Ashley, Orla Kiely, Jil Sander and many more) – this time with Sixties icon and wife of the late Ossie Clark, 71 year old Celia Birtwell. Known best for her prints, the collection will bring a hint of vintage to the Japanese retailer, with some of her signature prints used on wide flowing trousers, shirts, tote bags and more. The first few images – modeled by Portia Freeman – definitely give a pretty good idea of what’s to come. Prices will start at £10 and the collection will land in Uniqlo stores and online on March 21st. If her sell-out collaboration with Topshop in 2006 is anything to go by, it will go down a treat.
