Sometimes – not often, but sometimes – I prefer buying things for my home rather than for me, the only problem is, proper “design” tends to be very expensive. But there’s some great high street ranges out there that can help you get there for less. Big fashion brands like H&M, Zara and French Connection have all jumped on to the homeware bandwagon, whilst department stores like John Lewis and M&S have some great collaborations and affordable ranges out at the moment. Here’s my pick of some of the best – and cheap – homeware pieces out there!
1. Cantilevered Mango Floor Lamp, £225, from French Connection
2. Blue and white striped vase, £35, from French Connection
3. Recycled Cardboard Trophy, £50, from Folklore (ok, so this isn’t technically high street, but I love it…)
4. Conran for M&S Cloche Lamp, £129, from Marks and Spencer
5. House by John Lewis Bookcase, £399, from John Lewis
6. Candles, £3.99 each, from H&M Home
7. Chunky Multi Colour Blanket, £59.99, from Zara Home
8. Jute Storage Basket, £9.99, from H&M Home
9. House by John Lewis Tony Task Desk Lamp,£25 , from John Lewis
10. Marcel Wanders for M&S Wooden Salt & Pepper Shakers, £15, from Marks and Spencer
