I love it when fellow bloggers do well, and this weekend it was the turn of Charlie May. As well writing one of my favourite blogs, Girl A La Mode, Charlie has been hard at work launching her eponymous label. The front row was packed with some of London’s finest bloggers supporting one of their own, for Charlie’s SS13 presentation held in the wine cellars of the Stafford Hotel.

The collection was light and airy, full of Charlie’s signature sharp tailoring and beautiful layered pieces in a summery pastel colour palette, perfectly finished off with the Kat Maconie heels and Zan Zan sunglasses. For such a young designer, it was classy, mature, sophisticated and left me wanting more. I cannot wait to see what the future brings for Charlie – keep an eye out for her!
