I’ve been a longtime fan of Louise Gray‘s outrageously colourful collections – her AW12 show was one of my favourites of last London Fashion Week, see my review and pics here – so I happily welcome her first collaboration with Topshop, launching next week.
Louise Gray’s collections are always guaranteed to transform the catwalk into a club scene, with an overload of colours, layers, materials and just full-on craziness, and whilst I’m probably way too conservative and boring to wear her stuff head-to-toe, I always spot a few great separates I would happily have in my wardrobe, and the same thing goes for the Topshop collection. The small collection features dresses, tops and trousers completely covered in sparkly sequins, with prices starting from £120.
Louise Gray also becomes the first person to have a collaboration with Topshop Make Up, with a collection of nail polishes, glitters, eyeshadows and lipsticks in her trademark bright colours. And who better to model the collaboration the way it was intended than Louise herself?
Louise Gray for Topshop will be available from August 23 online and in the following stores: London Oxford Circus, London Brompton Road, Selfridges London, Manchester Arndale, Liverpool and the New York and Las Vegas stores in the US.
What do you think of the collection?
