Agyness Deyn for Dr. Martens

She’s been the face of Dr. Martens for a while, but now Brit model Agyness Deyn is turning her hand at designing for the brand, with her first capsule collection launching globally this week. For her designs Agyness stuck to her signature grungy style, putting her own spin on Dr. Martens’ footwear, as well as clothes and accessories.

It’s good to see Agy’s quirky style wasn’t toned down – some pieces are definitely “out there” – and the collection really rings true to her personal style. “I have always had a really intense relationship with Dr. Martens, right from my first pair back when I was 13, which I bought as a combination of showing that I wanted to rebel against my parents and they were the coolest boots that I could get away with wearing to school which stood for something that gave me my own stamp of originality.”
