Firenze4Ever Style Lab Part 2: The Rock Chick

For the second look of my Firenze4Ever Style Lab, I chose something completely different to the first. Whilst browsing Luisa Via Roma for some ideas, a pair of Converse caught my eye – a bit worn and dirty looking with studs, just the way I like them – and as with the first look, the rest just followed naturally.

Every rock chick needs a pair of black skinny jeans (J. Brand), badass sunglasses (Linda Farrow), a touch of leather (Givenchy top and Alexander Wang bag) and of course – a statement jacket. I’ve seen the Isabel Marant jacket in so many magazines, on so many blogs, but seeing it in real life really confirms how amazing it is. This is a look I would wear personally, if I could fit a size 28 jeans, that is.

We took the model (Lucrezia Fiorelli) to the Piazza del Duomo, where we found a giant big door which was perfect for a backdrop. Despite the fact that it was 35 degrees and I was melting, that she was in leather and jeans and about a million American tourists were staring, Lucrezia kept her cool and made this shoot even better than the first. Fun times – I so wish I could do it all over again!
