One of the main events at Firenze4Ever is the Style Lab, where I got to experience styling a real shoot, complete with model, hair and make up, an assistant and photographer, and of course, unlimited access to Luisa Via Roma‘s incredible collections…
I decided to go for 2 completely different looks, one glamorous, elegant and timeless, the other one casual and a bit of rock ‘n roll. As different as they may be, they are both very much how I would dress if I were as tall and gorgeous as my beautiful model , Lucrezia Fiorelli, who was a real pro despite her tender years (just 16 years old!)
My first look started with a beautiful coat by Spanish designer Amaya Arzuaga I fell head over heels in love with. At first sight, it’s a pretty classic navy coat, but when you have it on, it has an unexpected volume at the back and a beautiful sway when you move. The rest of the look followed completely naturally.
Below you’ll find the result of our shoot, shot near the merry-go-round on the beautiful Piazza della Repubblica in Firenze. For more pictures (there’s LOTS), check out the Alex Loves Facebook Page.
