Fashion week may be long gone, but the clothes won’t be in shops for some time to come, so I’m going to post some more of my favourites from London Fashion Week.
Holly Fulton stuck to her usual bold geometric Art Deco-inspired prints in shades of turquoise and fuchsia. This season, the Holly Fulton girl seems to have grown up a bit: there were sexy Sixties shift dresses, sophisticated coats and jackets, knit twinsets and beautifully tailored trousers and shirts. She hasn’t become boring though, she still has a naughty streak too – the prints are quirkier than ever, the clutches divine, the furry bags completely over the top and the jewellery more statement than ever.
With a lot going on in the collection, I like that Fulton stuck to just 2 colours, which she explored in every possible shade. I loved the use of the bright coloured knitwear and the exotic butterflies all around the collection – from prints to jewellery to the hairclips. But my favourite? The turquoise palm tree sweater and skirt combo. LOVE.
