I must have Christmas on the mind (every other email I get these days is Christmas-related, so I have no choice, really). I’ve already started on gift lists for the blog, buying pressies for everyone so I can avoid the manic panic shopping later (but mostly ending up with things for myself!) and wishing I worked in an office so I could justify dresses for the xmas party I’m not going to have.

Anyway, just saying that I’m ready for it. And so today’s Wednesday Wishlist is all about little things for the home that would make cool xmas gifts (and don’t break the bank either). Consider this a warm up for what’s to come.

1. Light Up Your Switch Stickers, boy and girl, £6, from Howkapow. A way to have fun with your lightswitches. By the way, Howkapow is a wonderful website to find original gifts!

2. SelfShelf, £24.50, from Dutch by Design. A shelf made to look like a book. What’s not to like?

3. Carmen the Sheep, Horace the Pig, Darcy the Cow and Mildred the Hen chopping boards, £29.95 each, from Liberty. Because they’re cool.

4. World Map Wall Sticker, £29,75, from Notonthehighstreet.com. I put mine up on my bedroom wall this weekend, put markers where I’ve been and can now dream of all the places I still haven’t.

5. Dog Lamp, £95, from Howkapow.. Utter and complete genius.

6. Blue Calico Cow Creamer from Burleigh, £28, from Liberty . Because I have this and it’s awesome. Sketch restaurant also uses them, so it must be cool.

7. D.L. & CO Skull Candles, £80 each, from Selfridges. Who doesn’t like a good skull candle at Christmas? And they’re in the Belgian national colours. Not that that is relevant. At all.

8. Hand Knitted Cosy Mugs, £16 each, from Notonthehighstreet.com. Keeps your drink (and hand) nice and warm during winter.

9. Bird In The Bush Cups, £29.95, from Dutch By Design. Fun stack of cups. Also exists in pink. If you like that kinda thing.

10. Moose on the Loose Coathanger, £29.99, from Twenty Twentyone. Somewhere festive to hang your coats.
