Exhibition: Fairy-God, Fashion-Mother

Every so often an email drops into your inbox that can make a shitty day turn around. Hormazd Narielwalla‘s email about his upcoming solo exhibition did just that. As artist-in-residence at Savile Row’s Dege & Skinner, he uses classic cutting patterns to create great collages. A series of these depicting his muse Diane Pernet are now going on display at The Modern Pantry in Clerkenwell, combining my 3 all-time favourite things: fashion, art, and the delicious food at The Modern Pantry.

The one-off collages of Diane Pernet, the fashion icon of A Shaded View Of Fashion fame, will be on display in the first floor dining room at the Modern Pantry from Monday (November 8th), so do go and check it out if you’re in the neighbourhood. And if you’ve never been before, order some food – take it from me, it’s incredible, especially brunch! Hormazd has been so kind to send me a couple of previews of the pieces that will be on display, as well as a few “making of” images. Hope you like!
