Wednesday Wishlist: The COS goes online edtion

COS is my secret weapon. Whenever, at any time, you ask me what I’m wearing, you can bet at least one thing will be from COS, often to people’s surprise. COS, although a higher end range from the H&M group, looks suspiciously expensive but isn’t, uses great durable materials, have beautiful shops that look more like boutiques, and you won’t bump into 50 people wearing the same thing. Their minimalist Scandinavian design is understated and doesn’t scream “I’M WEARING COS!!”, but the pieces do stand out because of small details.
Part of what I love about COS is that it has always been kept quite low-key and a little bit exclusive. No overhyping, no high profile collaborations, no big campaigns, only a handful of shops per country, and that’s only in 5 countries so far anyway. So it’s part sad, part uberexcited to share with you that COS has quietly landed online, finally opening it up to the wider public. This of course makes it that little bit less “special”, but gosh, I do love a good online shopping spree, and COS has always been on my online retailer wishlist.
So here’s a little selection of the current womenswear selection online (and that’s not even mentioning the incredible menswear and kidswear collections!). I may own some/all/most of the pieces in this wishlist. Ahem.
