The Definitive Guide to Fashionable iPad Cases

I love my iPad, full stop. It’s a brilliant bit of technological genius, and I couldn’t live without mine. But, I don’t actually have a nice case for it. It’s not just about protecting any longer, it’s about Style with a capital S. Every designer seems to have their own wonderful version, and quite frankly, I could never choose. I may have named this post the Definitive Guide, but clearly I lied. This selection is barely even scratching the surface of all the good ones out there. To be continued…

1. Louise Gray, £95, from V&A Shop Exclusively made for the V&A as part of the Postmodernism:Style and Subversion 1970–1990 exhibition

2. YSL Leather Case, from Farfetch, £494 My absolute favourite, although for that price I may as well just buy a YSL handbag. Well, quarter of one.

3. Bottega Veneta Intreciatto Mustard iPad Holder, £390, from Matches Best carried in matching Bottega Veneta bag.

4. Mulberry Foxglove Pink Leather Sleeve, £165, from My-Wardrobe.com Simple, classy, textured, bright.

5. Jonathan Saunders for Smythson two-tone leather iPad case, £395, from Net-A-Porter Because everyone likes a good collaboration, right?

6. + 7. Miss Marc and Mr. Marc iPad cases from Marc by Marc Jacobs, £50, from Selfridges Silly and cute. Would be rude to split the couple up, so best to just get yourself a second iPad.

8. Lynus Emerald Rabbit iPad Case by 3.1 Philip Lim, £695, from Net-A-Porter Look, it’s green and furry, what other reasons do you need?

9. Walnut iPad Case, £55, from V&A Shop Looks good, does good: for every case sold, 100 trees are planted.

10. Simon Carter Harris Tweed Sleeve, £75, from John Lewis For when you’re out hunting, obviously.

11 – 15. Vintage Print faux-leather iPad Holders from Diane by Diane Von Furstenberg, £112, from Matches A different case for every outfit.
