A few weeks ago, my postman dropped off a mysterious, goodlooking package at my house. Not knowing what it was, I opened it, to find an even prettier box inside, with a little note from the Glossybox team introducing their concept. This was an example of what you get from them when you sign up…

I must admit, I was intrigued. Inside the pink box, carefully wrapped, were 5 different beauty products, ranging from make-up, haircare and fragrance, in miniature sizes. A little guide inside explained what each product was, sometimes with tips on how to use them. If you like them, you can buy full sizes straight from their website, at a special rate. Their youtube channel also has handy little videos on how to use the products. When you sign up with Glossybox, you fill out a questionnaire, so they can match the products you get to your specific needs – so every box can be different.

Since getting the package I’ve been converted to the HD Brows Eye & Brow palette (bye bye invisible blonde brows) and had 2 luxurious hair treatments with the Rahua shampoo and conditioner samples. If you’re like me, a little unsure about spending money on beauty products you don’t know, so always sticking with the same old, the Glossybox concept is ideal. For just £10 a month you get to trial the products and if you don’t like it – no biggie. If you do, then it will be a great introduction. Plus, the package is so pretty, it felt a little like a special treat when it arrived.
