Fashion Fringe 2011 Finalists
Meet the Fashion Fringe Class of 2011: Fyodor Golan, Heidi Leung and Nabil El-Nayal may not sound familiar to you yet, but one of these could just be the next Erdem, Basso & Brooke or Aminaka Wilmont, all winners of the famous Fashion Fringe competition. In September the 3 finalists will show their full collections at the Fashion Fringe show, and one of these young designers will be crowned the 2011 winner by a panel of experts, and be given the opportunity to show on the main schedule of London Fashion Week the following season.
As ever, it’s a very varying choice of styles, which is why I love Fashion Fringe so much. It gives designers like last year’s winner Corrie Nielsen the chance to grow and explore their personal styles. With just this little taster I snapped at the Very.co.uk press day (sponsors of Fashion Fringe) I can’t wait to see what they will bring! Roll on September!
