Swedish Hasbeens 2.0
One of the few trends I’ve never quite understood were the clogs. Massive last summer, still big this winter and hanging around this summer, this is one trend I’ll happily see the back of. So I was pretty surprised when I saw the AW11 collection for Swedish Hasbeens – probably the trendsetters for this craze – at the Varg press days: I didn’t hate them. Fresh off their much-hyped collaboration with H&M, it looks like Swedish Hasbeens have moved into a whole new direction for next winter. The clog-like wooden soles are still there, but there are now trendy biker boots and even better colourful loafer-style heels. The lookbook is something different as well, quite edgy and unlike anything I’ve ever seen before.
Those pink tassle loafers? They look comfy as hell. There might be some Swedish Hasbeens on my feet one day after all…
