Last week I attended the New Look AW11 press day at the beautiful One Marylebone (THE most gorgeous venue ever…) for the second time in less than 24 hours. I had attended a star-studded party in the same venue to celebrate New Look’s new “Style The Nation” show (coming to Channel 4 in June presented by Nick Grimshaw) just hours before, but nothing could stop me from coming back for more!

The AW11 collection was set up in a lot of different stories and quite literally has something for everyone – there’s just that much to choose from! From the Sixties inspired “Modernist” to the rock ‘n roll vibe of the Idol range, there’s definitely tons of great pieces to find. Me and partner in crime Anastasia and Duck had a good rummage, some scones and several glasses of champagne in the lovely cafe set up for the occasion.

And because as bloggers we’re often absolutely spoiled, New Look let us pick our favourite AW11 pieces to get photographed in by none other than Jackie Dixon of Show Me Your Wardrobe. For me, New Look is always all about the accessories, so I picked a matching teal hat and heels to pose in. I’m terrified of the camera, but Jackie made feel comfortable, and I’m pretty pleased with the result.
