Wednesday Wishlist 3

I’m off to Australia next week for a couple of weeks, and I’ve got holidays on my mind. The sun may have just started coming out around here, but suddenly I have to start packing bikinis, sundresses and sandals, and I’m panicking. So I’ve spent a lot of time online looking at options this week, as I’m sure you can tell!

1. Hervé Léger Printed Bandage Dress, now £568 (was £1,420), from The Outnet. Ok, so this isn’t quite beachwear, but The Outnet have an insane Hervé Léger sale going on right now. I love this one as it doesn’t scream Léger with the print. I’ve never really tried one on, but I heard a real, high quality bandage dress (not high street rip off), does miracles for pretty much every figure, even curvy ones like mine. Consider it like a big, fancy Spanx. Will have to go for it one day…

2. Black Goddess Halter Top and Goddess Tie Side Pant by Seafolly, £46 and £38 respectively, from This Australian swimwear brand (how appropriate, right???) has fast become my favourite since I bought a very similar set for my previous holidays. The top (with amazing padding) gives you a cleavage to die for, the bottom is sexy yet covers up enough. I pretty much want everything from their collection, even the one-pieces…

3. Raffia Wooden Bangle Stack, £14.99, from New Look All it takes is a bit of carefully chosen jewellery, like a simple necklace or some bangles to transform a simple bikini and cover up into a stylish summer look. These raffia bangles are great, especially with a straw hat or espadrille combo!

4. Black rounded flat top sunglasses, £18, from Topshop Round sunglasses, still very on trend, very cheap. I like.

5. Miami Leather Sandals, £145, from Ash have launched their online shop just this week, these sandals are great for a city dweller just like me, but can easily be worn on holiday too…

6. Royal Wedding Cameo Brooch, £30, from Tatty Devine Trust Tatty Devine to launch some of the best Royal Wedding memorabilia I’ve seen so far. The perspex Will & Kate’s come in the form of brooches, necklaces, rings and earrings, and I oddly kind of want them… The back has a commemorative inscription too. The line between tacky or cool is very thin, but these are definitely winners!

7. Black wide brimmed floppy hat, £.., from Urban Outfitters. Last winter was all about 70’s style wide-brimmed hats, so it’s great to see the trend continue for summer. This floppy straw hat comes in natural colour too, but I prefer the darker option! (Urban Outfitters’ website is currently down and I cannot get to the price! Will update as soon as it is up and running again)
