Bloggers for Japan

When my friend and all-round amazing human being Katie Antoniou sent a few of us an email last week suggesting we do something to raise money for the victims of the recent Japan earthquake and tsunami, the reaction was overwhelming. In just a short week she has organised a great event next week, March 26th, which initially started with bloggers donating a bunch of stuff to sell.

However, as these things go, it has snowballed into a much bigger thing, with lots of people and companies donating wonderful things to buy or bid on during a silent auction. Here’s just a few of the amazing things you’ll be able to spend some pennies on next week:

Signed books by
Gisele Scanlon – The Goddess Guides
Tamsin Blanchard – Green is the New Black
Zoe Berkeley – Bake-a-Boo bakery cookbook
Rosie Lovell – Spooning with Rosie

Illamasqua will be offering a 2 hour Portrait of Creativity course including £25 worth of products each.

A Vintage Styling Session with Lena Weber, founder of The Vintage Guide to London.
A Shoe Upcycling Workshop session from I CAN Make Shoes.
Jewellery from the likes of my friend Swell Vintage, The Vamoose, Clare Hynes and more.

Exclusive Japan postcards, prints and t-shirts by Nikki Pinder
Artwork by Little Doodles
Unique canvases by Twinkle Troughton

That’s not including the things we are all donating too, so if you’re looking for a great Mother’s day present or something for yourself, get yourself down to The Horatia next Saturday and help this good cause…

I’m going to try and be there myself, but in case I’m not, I will be donating some things too. If you want to get involved or donate stuff, get in touch with me and I’ll get you in touch with Katie.
