A few weeks ago I met with Yoanna, the fashionable brain and unstoppable force behind new website High Fashion Society. This former City girl set up the website so she could fully indulge in her passion for fashion. HFS is an exclusive members-only club offering high quality pre-owned fashion items. If you’re looking to empty out your wardrobe (and maybe get some other great goodies in return), this the new place to do it.

For a small commission, HFS take all the hassle out of selling your items yourself, as well as ensuring your items only get exposed to the right public in return. At the moment there’s some real crackers on the site – and considering the site has only just gone live, this is a great sign of things to come!

HFS works slightly different to other second-hand or vintage websites, as it works on a membership basis. Standard membership is free and is aimed at occasional users, a paid VIP membership costs £99 per year and gives you much lower commission rate, collection and delivery services, discounts, and much more. The website also offers styling and wardrobe makeover services. They’re only looking for top-of-the range items in pristine condition – real vintage items even get valued and authenticated by experts at auction houses.

A new year is a great time for a new venture, so I’m very excited about the future of High Fashion Society. City-Girl-turned-Fashionista is a story I can definitely get behind!
