Perhaps a little late, but I would like to wish you all a very happy 2011!

My Christmas break was a tale of 2 extremes, both involving very white beaches. First I went home to Belgium, where I spent the holidays with my family and boyfriend, where the snow was knee-deep. The beach was completely covered, pristinely white, quite a breathtaking sight.

Then it was off to the Caribbean where I spent 10 days cruising around many little islands on a sailboat with my family and my good friend Antoinette. The beaches, you guessed, were also white, although the temperatures slightly more enjoyable. I celebrated New Year’s Eve dancing barefoot in the rain until my nailpolish came off.

I came back sometime last week, but haven’t been able to do any work or updates as my internet was broken. Instead I spent it on the phone with my Broadband company and a lovely engineer called Tony. Now all is fixed, my jetlag gone and I am bursting with ideas and energy. I just need my fingers to catch up with me.

I would like to say a huge thank you for all the lovely Christmas and New Year’s wishes I received over the past few weeks, and I look forward to working with everyone again this year, meeting my lovely colleague-bloggers and am hoping for an even bigger and better year than 2010!

Finally, I wish you all a successful but most of all a HEALTHY year, because if 2010 taught me anything, without health, nothing else matters.
