Bex Rox Rocks

This week we’re celebrating London Jewellery Week , so here’s my tribute to my latest jewellery obsession.
Last week I scored these amazing 2 pieces from young, hot jewellery designer BEX ROX (real name Bex Manners). I use the word score, because I got them for a fraction of the original price on private-sales website Cocosa.
I fell in madly love with Bex Rox jewellery a few weeks ago when I saw her pieces at the Matches store on Marylebone High Street, but thought they were a little too pricey for my wallet right now. (Necklaces are £200+, a similar bracelet to mine £155). So it seemed like a sign from the fashion gods that I would get an email from Cocosa just days later that there was going to be a Bex Rox sale, featuring pretty similar items to the ones I’d been drooling over.
Come noon of the Cocosa sale day, I was on there like it was a Glastonbury ticket, clicking away like a madwoman, and got both my pieces for £65 and £75 for the bracelet and the necklace respectively. After a year of being a Cocosa member, this is the first time I’ve ever bought anything, but boy, was that worth it! In hindsight, I probably should have just gotten all of the pieces.
In the few days since they’ve arrived, I’ve not taken either off. Random people on the street have commented on the, and I’ve found they work with EVERYTHING. The chunky gold necklace is short and has silver rings attached, so the gold/silver dilemma is no longer an issue. The bracelet has gold, grey metal and a blue ribbon woven through it. It closes with a magnetic clasp. Both of them are so perfectly rock ‘n roll yet so chic at the same time – jeans or evening gown, it both works. It’s officially a stroke of genius.
I’ve now accepted that I’m a rubbish photographer and will never be able to take any decent pictures, so I’ve settled for taking blurry low-quality ones with my webcam and turned them into polaroids. So until I take some kind of course, this is the best you’ll ever get from me. I did have fun taking the pictures, for even more see my new “About” section. Below are two ‘real’ pictures so you can actually see what they look like!
