One is 13, the other probably has a job
Alexa Chung and Tavi larking around at the Chanel Couture show yesterday. Let’s forget about Tavi’s blue hair or Alexa’s clogs or their teenage (pun intended) behaviour for a minute. But why are they even there, let alone sat in the front row? I find it terribly disappointing that this is the image PR’s wish to create for their brand in favour of old fashioned glamour, which is what Couture Week should be all about.
Anyway, you should read this interesting blog about the current Tavi-backlash.
It unfortunately takes the take focus away from what is really important, which was an almost cartoonesque, pastel, chiffon, futuristic chef-d’œuvre by master Karl.
