When I went to Louise Goldin‘s SS10 show last season I became obsessed by the spiky pump-sock combo she completed her otherwise pastel-melt-in-the-mouth looks with. They gave the collection just the right amount of punk edge to balance out the sweetness of the girly draping and soft colours.

Anyway. The shoes. Nearly fell off my chair when I just read on the marvelous Topshop blog they will be sold through Topshop. They will be in store around February – just in time for London Fashion Week, which means they will be this season’s Christopher Kane Gorilla T-shirt, no doubt. Let’s face it, a little kick here and there… they may prove very useful in securing that elusive front row seat. Expect them at to retail at around £150. I want, need, must have, you know… the usual.

  • Love them all, but especially the creme and gold. Those and the black ones certainly be justified as self-defense investments. I certainly wouldn’t mess with a woman walking on the street wearing those.
