Sticky Walls

I got a case of serious wall-envy after spotting some glorious Macaroon wall stickers in my cousins bedroom today, and it got me thinking about my own bare walls. Stickers are such an easy and painfree way to update your interior, and they can be removed without causing lasting damage.

My cousin’s Macaroons are by a French company called Domestic and are on sale at Colette. Domestic collaborates with young designers as well as established names to create some of the best stickerwork I’ve ever seen. There’s the abstract pieces, the humourous, the trompe l’oeils, big and small, colourful and monotone; it’s making it damn hard for me to choose.

Continuing my research, I also stumbled across London-based Hu2 Design, where I found these great laptop stickers and plenty of other gems like sheep for counting during sleepless nights, a toilet monster and the fridge contents.

I don’t know which one I’ll be going for, but one thing’s for sure, I’m going sticky.

UPDATE: About a minute after posting this a friend with great taste pointed me in the direction of What Is Blik.

If possible, there’s even more choice, but I think I’ve found the one. You just can’t go wrong with a bit of Keith Haring, right? RIGHT.
