Maison Martin Margiela archives go on sale
In another mysterious move which raises even more questions over the future of fashion house Maison Martin Margiela, they have now decided to put over 100 classic archive pieces up for sale online.
The ever reclusive Belgian designer has been rumoured to be on the out for a few seasons (although fashion insiders know very well his involvement with the house has been minimal for quite a few years now!), so having a sale of their archives does make you wonder what’s going on behind the scenes.
The good news of course is that all of us can own some iconic MMM pieces – including the infamous Wig Coat from SS 2009 – for a ‘reasonable’ price. But worth it for a slice of fashion history, surely?
