My Parisian Erdem dream.

Last season, there was one show and one dress specifically that really summed up London Fashion Week for me.

Held in the arches of Somerset House (little did we know it was to become LFW’s new home then!), accompanied by a live French band, the Erdem show really gave me chills. It wasn’t because it was the most innovative of collections, nor was it a groundbreaking moment for the young designer, but the entire collection showed his true class, his craft  with prints and most importantly, staying power.

So why am I bringing this up now?

Just had a little browse on Matches.com – and there it was.

The Dress

The Dress I had as a blurry background picture on my iPhone for months. The Dress I’d hoped to wear if my brother got married (he didn’t).

The Dress.

It’s a whopping £1578, and I’m frantically looking for a reason to justify emptying my savings account.
